Writing Services

I can’t promise world peace despite my innate faith in the ‘pen being mightier than the sword’.

But here’s something I can promise.

To understand and write YOUR STORY, the way it’s meant to be written.

Stories aren’t just for novels, movies or people who change the course of history.

You live them. I live them. We are all a bunch of stories, waiting to be read.

Whether you run a small business or a flourishing company , YOU have a story the world needs to hear. In your voice, with my words, and for all to benefit from.

For example it could be about your product or service. How you thought of it one hot summer afternoon in June? What it means to you? How you expect customers to catch and comprehend its value?

Yes. It’s all a big, fat, beautiful story.

And this is the summary of mine.

“To write words that enrich. “

As a writer I have experience with:

  • Blogs/ articles
  • Website content
  • Corporate writing( brochures, rewriting, proofreading etc.)
  • Creative writing (fiction, non-fiction)

Why Me?

A question you’re bound to ask at this point. Well for starters I am:

  • Glued to the ‘QUE’ mantra. Quality. Uniqueness. Enrichment.
  • Independent and thorough in my research skills
  • Able to adapt to client needs without losing my ‘writing’ voice
  • Open to a variety of writing areas and topics
  • As easy going as they get
  • Dependable with a great eye for detail

I can provide relevant samples when required. Just say the word.

Me too! I used to write journals even when I was a kid.. I love writing, too but not that kind for publishing. Most are personal, too. I found my way here through your comment on today’s assignment. Thanks for appreciating my site’s lay-out! Will look forward to your posts!

Hello newest Spikey! I know, a bit corny, eh, but that’s the term that has come to stick for those folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it, thrown in for good measure.

My promise to you is not to be overbearing, just a couple of posts a day, maybe 3 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

This was my favorite line, “I write because I owe a ten year old girl an explanation. A girl who years ago wrote personal diaries, essays and stories…but never found her way beyond those crumpled papers. Until now. I write because I think I have something to say; mostly uninteresting, random things that make my blood bubble or freeze; depending on the intensity of the situation.”

I also owe my younger self an explanation. I used to write compose ‘newspapers’ that I would make copies of and hand out to my family members filled with stories about them and how the Denver Broncos were doing. I had mounds of journals! And then after graduating with my English degree, I stopped writing for fun. But no longer! I’m determined to bring back my younger zeal for writing and become as prolific as I can be.

I just love this “about”. About being a writer, what you said reminds me of a quote by Amanda Palmer: “you an artist when you say you are an artist. You an good artist when your work touches others” (or something like that). You, methinks, are a writer well and truly.
